About Us

Engineers with vast experience from various industries were inspired to create Helios Helmet after learning about the catastrophic accidents caused by human error. The goal was to develop a solution to improve the accuracy and safety of buildings and structures, and welding played a crucial role. We completed our team along the way to ensure we had adequate business and marketing insights to launch our startup.

Saeid Mokhtari Hemami

Managing Director

Saeid, our managing director, holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and has managed an industrial machinery workshop for more than ten years. Due to his background, he can understand the problems in the welding industry and how to position our business in this market. As the public face of Helios, he defines the OKRs, oversees business operations, develops fundraising strategies, and handles the finances.

Mehrdad Afsharpour

Product Manager

After graduation, Mehrdad started his first job as an electrical engineer and, after 18 years, started his own company in consulting and implementing electricity projects. During this time, he mainly focused on industrial power electronics and gained valuable experience as well as in-depth knowledge in this field. As our product manager, he supervises every aspect of the product, from product design and usability tests to identifying the suitable components for building the helmet. He is closely involved in the process of product development in addition to developing technical strategies and roadmaps.

Mohammad Kazemi

Software Development Manager

Mohammad is our software development manager and computer engineer with almost 27 years of professional experience in this field. The combination of his technical expertise and management abilities makes him a valuable member of our product team. He collaborates closely with Mehrdad to develop a better understanding of the product requirements to define software specifications and prepare technical documents. He supervises the data scientists in training the AI and improving the helmet’s ability to detect welding defects.

Parissa Hashemi Osgoui

Sales & Marketing Manager

It Is Almost Impossible to Run a Business Without a Marketing Expert to Market the Product and Devise a Sales Plan. We Are Pleased to Have Parissa as Our Sales and Marketing Manager, Who Brings Her Business Insights Into Our Team. She Has Been Working in This Field Since 2011 and Has Accumulated Extensive Knowledge and Expertise in Understanding Customer Demands and Identifying Market Opportunities. Her Responsibilities at Helios Include Carrying Out Market Research, Developing Sales Plans and Marketing Strategies, and Promoting Our Product to Customers.
