Who we are?
Engineers with vast experience from various industries were inspired to create Helios Helmet after learning about the catastrophic accidents caused by human error. The goal was to develop a solution to improve the accuracy and safety of buildings and structures, and welding played a crucial role. We completed our team along the way to ensure we had adequate business and marketing insights to launch our startup.

Managing Director
Saeid, our managing director, has a chemical engineering degree and over ten years of experience managing an industrial machinery workshop. His background enables him to comprehend welding industry challenges and effectively position our business. As the public face of Helios, Saeid sets OKRs, supervises operations, devises fundraising strategies, and manages finances.
Parissa Hashemi Osgoui
Sales & Marketing Manager
We have Parissa as our Sales and Marketing Manager, a valuable addition to our team. With her extensive experience since 2011, she possesses deep insights into understanding customer demands and identifying market opportunities. Parissa's responsibilities at Helios encompass market research, sales plan development, marketing strategies, and customer promotion. Having her expertise enables us to effectively market our product and devise sales plans to drive business success.
Mehrdad Afsharpour
Product Manager
After working as an electrical engineer, Mehrdad founded his own consulting and electricity project implementation company, specializing in industrial power electronics. With 18 years of experience in this field, he brings valuable expertise and knowledge to our team. As the product manager, Mehrdad oversees all aspects of the helmet, from design and usability testing to component selection. He plays a vital role in product development, shaping technical strategies and roadmaps.
Mohammad Kazemi
Software Development Manager
Mohammad is our software development manager and computer engineer with almost 27 years of professional experience in this field. The combination of his technical expertise and management abilities makes him a valuable member of our product team. He collaborates closely with Mehrdad to develop a better understanding of the product requirements to define software specifications and prepare technical documents. He supervises the data scientists in training the AI and improving the helmet's ability to detect welding defects.
